Inaileable rights

Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. So much of what we want is not what we need. A need to please, be accepted, to climb social ladders. It's all really silly when you think about it... How many people spend their lives trying to please others and serving on the boards of charities and social groups while their children are not the center of their attention and become "emotionally neglected." I know of a family like this and the children grew up to be rather sad and introverted adults. We all want to help the world, but don't forget to look closely at your family, extended family, friends and your community. Look for ways to give to those who need help and may not be able to ask. Share your talents and your goodness with the community you live in. Share some of yourself, the gift that your life is.
